By now, those who genuinely try to stay tuned to important news items of the day have seen this man’s (link below) revealing appraisal of the power-plays of contemporary American society.

I doubt that this Chinese academic has a love for President Trump since he is in close affiliation with Chinese Communist Party leadership. None the less, his appraisals are objective and certainly accurate to those of us who know what Trump represents and what is represented by the Ivy-league planners entrenched in American government. 

The moniker, “deep state” was first coined by the left-wing journalist Glen Greenwald when he sought to describe the entrenched forces of the Washington elite. To use Donald Trump’s simplistic but to-the-point vocabulary, “these are bad people.” 😉

I expect these budding internationalist control freaks to act as they do. What pisses me off are the many common American citizens who willingly support this cabal of scum and actively oppose Trump’s simple desire to prioritize the successes his nation and its citizens.

 She knows what we know.  When Barack Obama won his first term, he immediately resigned his Senate seat (wouldn’t be needing that anymore).  As of yet, Kamala Harris has not relinquished her seat. The revelations should be shocking to anyone who believes in a free constitutional society.

Trump may appear paranoid at this point (under the circumstances, who wouldn’t be) but he is clearly aware that that he can’t trust the FBI, CIA, or any other deep state machine.  He IS playing 4-D chess. 

There is a good chance that justice will prevail.  The final last-ditch effort by the global power-elite to make their play will be when they unleash street mobs from BLM and Antifa.

It’s Not Over Until It’s Over

I realize that I’ve opened myself up to ridicule and a few eye-rolls if my stance is not born out by events in the coming few weeks.  I’ve steadfastly held to my belief that the president will win this election and ultimately will serve another four years.

More and more, lukewarm supporters of Trump (eg. laura Ingraham) are joining establishment Republicans and assorted insiders in the “throw in the towel” phase of events.  Ultimately, one’s position on the issue rests a lot on what you’re reading and/or how much you believe what you’re reading.

There are some serious legal challenges on the horizon, eventually involving the Supreme Court, that can turn the election result in Trump’s favor in spite of individual state’s politicos “certifying” the election or various “transition” policies being set in motion.

Anyone with an honest and objective appraisal of what has occurred in this election cannot in good faith say it was conducted fairly and with little suspicious activity.

The mail-in voting “idea” — particularly in cases of unsolicited mailings — should have been a red flag immediately that some shenanigans were being put into play.  That, along with bizarre and impossible mathematical tabulations occurring alongside disappearing ballots and deliveries of ballots in the dead of night. There are definitely enough underhanded and suspicious maneuvers warranting investigation. Of course most media channels won’t be investigating anything because they are no longer objective venues of information.

If, as I still expect, Donald Trump comes out the winner in this escapade, enough slight of hand has occurred in the press and among associated partisans, that a Trump success will inflame the leftist rabble to new heights of violence. 

If Trump ultimately leaves office (and I end up looking stupid for taking my stand), we are stuck with the very horrible situation of an election-as-coup and a future where no election will be fairly conducted. America, like many tin-pot dictatorships will become a one-party state where half the public has lost its say in how they will conduct their lives. 

If Biden is the next president (and, lets face it, he will primarily be a figurehead to more astute, radical, and dubious players), America will be put on a fast track into oblivion — for the cause of a global “reset.”

Biden’s choice of advisors and bureau-heads is a who’s who of the swamp’s most ardent establishment lobbyists, war-mongers, and socialist pseudo-intellectuals.  Already hordes of “immigrants” are headed for the southern border, international institutions are preparing for their economic gains, and totalitarian states are licking their chops over the demise of the last great defense of free society. 

If the forty-sixth president is Joe Biden, a national lockdown and spiraling economic decline are the least of your worries.  

Remember, socialism is not new and it always plays out the same.  Obey or suffer.

 If my appraisal of current events had been made solely upon establishment “mainstream” sources, I’d be somewhat dispirited about this election outcome. In fact, I actually do pursue several mainstream and leftist sources of “news.”  They’ve become so hyperbolic and blatantly dishonest in lies and lies of omission that even fellow travelers no doubt feel the need to scour alternative media to get some idea of what’s really going on (a hat tip to Bitchute, Parler, and Gab). 

A few posts back I made the case for my belief that enough evidence of election fraud had taken place that Trump would, in the end, emerge triumphant.

To those whom I know who restrict their information to mainstream news sources, my position sounds absurd. “Joe Biden already won and Trump refuses to concede as he tries to cling to power.”  Even the most die-hard among the Trump-deranged — if they know unfolding events — knows that there is more than circumstantial evidence of large scale vote manipulation in this election.  In all likelihood, Trump won by a landslide. The average citizen just wasn’t about to trade in their country’s prosperity, security, and freedom for a feeble old political hack and borderline communist associates.

A few setbacks in current legal challenges has caused me to, at times, pause and consider that I may be wrong and the left will soon achieve a full-on coup and overthrow of American constitutional government.  But...actually, I’m convinced, now more than ever, that justice will prevail.  

A couple hundred thousand concerned citizens descended on Washington this last week. In spite of media caricatures of them as being “violent right wing extremists,” anyone can observe hours if video footage of the event on line and see that the only caricature is that of simple largely middle-class men and women who oppose totalitarian schemes to wrest power for some bogus globalist “revolution.”

I could be wrong — anybody can potentially be wrong — but, I’m pretty confident that Trump will be serving another four years. Then the real fireworks begin when the spoiled child of leftism will once again rear its ugly head and go on another rampage of destruction and violence.

I think it should be pointed out that this election con doesn’t necessarily require a deliberate coordinated effort to get the same fraudulent result.  One must note that the Democrats are ultimately the government’s party. Among the many volunteers that count ballots are no doubt many who have vented their Trump derangement independently of other like-minded scammers.

It’s as if a variety of late night talk show hosts or journalists were chosen to handle the ballots — hardly an honest choice of diverse thought.

While there is no doubt a conspiracy, there is also a conspiracy of like minds.

Occasionally, people will make comments or respond to comments on YouTube that are reasonable and convincing...but, that’s only occasionally. When sparing with most on the left, the comments are usually variations on “Orange [and white] man bad,” “America bad,” and “Western civilization...bad.”  

I have to post my response here to a clown that just railed on my “whiteness” with the usual cliche' leftist nonsense about “white people” living on “stolen land.”  

I lost the link to her original comment but it ended with, “This is not your country white man. ...Sit down and hush up squatter.” Of course, if I had written something similar regarding the conjured victim class, YouTube would no doubt remove the comment.  Her comment was definitely worthy of an eye-roll but I had to respond with a more objective appraisal of history.

My response to this and similar nonsense:

Which of the over 500 “first nations” are you referring to?  The rare peaceful ones or the many who conquered other tribes and held slaves (eg. The Aztecs). 

Your aggressive comment sounds more like utterings from an inferiority complex than a strong dignified and objective individual.

The world’s history is full of attacks and defeats.  The weak and chaotic are often defeated. There’s nothing heroic about victimhood.

I’ll be more convinced of your view of the “white man” (I assume you mean western civilization since you’re obviously not a racist) when you give up your smart phone, air conditioning, and plentiful low-cost food — none of which are products of unsophisticated and defeated cultures.

Each day the plot thickens.  Establishment media and a still coup-driven Democrat/socialist party continue to deceive the public into thinking the election is a done deal. They know that the realty is otherwise.

Responsible journalism would accurately report the numerous questionable circumstances that now surround the election in several states. 

As of yet there is no official certification of a Biden win in several states yet the cabal continues to depict the president as some crazed lunatic unjustly holding on to power to continue his “right wing extremist” agenda of putting American citizens before global establishment autocrats in waiting.  

In the end, their actions will prove highly disruptive to political stability. While the feeble faux-“winner” continues to accept congratulations from fellow globalist bureau-guardians the tech giants and partisan hordes pretend there is no massive legal effort to shine light on the numerous scams, “glitches,” and schemes that sought to seal the left’s final grip upon free society.  

To the rescue...Parler, Gab, and a host of alternate information sources now challenge the lies of leftland. 

In more sober times, this election would be completely redone with strict supervision of attempts at phony manipulations.  A close second to that will likely occur when the Supreme Court basically nullifies the completely corrupted tallies in critical states like Pennsylvania and Michigan.  Georgia is now doing a complete hand recount...while “news” sources ramble about a Biden administration under the caste of Washington insiders that sold out America under the Obama “community organizer” presidency.

The next challenge will be dealing with the hordes of leftist agitators and fellow travelers who have been lied to over the last several weeks.

The challenge in the end will be to somehow get leftist partisans to”play nice,” accept the fact that they live in a republic, and millions of fellow citizens want no part of their global socialist “revolution.”  

If they don’t like that?  Fuck ‘em.

Then, worst of all, they sought to use corrupt Democrat machines (a reference to political machines, not actual voting machines) in cities and states to deliberately cheat voters of their choice. In accordance with the last point, ...they were stupid.  Did they really think that bizarre instant stats in their favor that defied the laws of mathematics would go unchallenged?

Making America great again will make the Democrats hate again, while projecting their every evil trait upon others who only wish to maintain a great constitutional republic free from the dictates of dystopian ideologues and garden variety authoritarian thugs.

Most (all) establishment media outlets have begun referring to citizen Biden as “President elect” Biden and praised him for....owning dogs, and other important warm and fuzzy things (we already know what kind of ice cream he likes from some of the hard-hitting questions during the campaign).

The hasty acceptance being touted as fact overlooks some inconvenient issues.  The race is actually not officially certified.  There are numerous valid points of contention in several states. In spite of the dishonest and dystopian propaganda games of big tech and big media, there really are solid examples of vote fraud, manipulation, and statistical anomalies, particularly (coincidently?) in critical swing states like Pennsylvania (the state that didn’t register my absentee vote). 

After thorough investigations, lawsuits, and Supreme Court intervention, a genuine conclusion will be made and it still holds fourth the possibility of a Trump reelection.

If that occurs, the brigade of deep state globalists, Democrat coup aficionados, street mobs of intolerant communists, and low-information fools and idealists will be very angry after having been led to believe that the “Orange Man” was defeated.

Anyone with common sense, honesty, and insightful appraisal of claims and speculations can see the obvious. This election was a con-job of epic proportions.

Since, in their false comfort, many democomms have suggested punitive measures against those who dared stray from leftist dictate over the past four years, perhaps it may be fitting to respond in kind....just so they finally know what its like to be a constant target of dishonest control freaks and collectivist authoritarians.

Inching toward the precipice.  The Trump campaign has noted many legitimate issues in involving vote manipulation and fraud in the election.  The media, in classic consistency, is acting as mouthpiece for the Democomms seeking to depict Trump’s valid concerns as attempts to suppress votes. 

As noted earlier, I’ve experienced this Chavez-style election interference myself after having sent my absentee ballot in from overseas over a month ago (to ....Pennsylvania! Of all places).  There is no record of having received my vote FOR DONALD TRUMP.  

What’s shocking to me in all of this are the many people who actively want to see Biden win. These are people who have experienced zero negative impact from a Trump administration and are completely unaware of Biden’s corruption and the last administration’s use of government agencies to undermine their opponents.

At this point, America is screwed.  The issue will no doubt end up in the Supreme court, where honest appraisal will rectify the blatantly dishonest actions by Democrats in several states (most notably...and, “coincidently” swing states).  

The Jacobins and their enablers in government, media, and culture will not allow a fairly elected Trump administration to continue.  This is one of those scenarios in history where people in the end (at least half the population) will get the government they deserve.  The next several decades will be spent blaming Donald Trump for the collapse of an economy, violence, and chaos brought on by socialism.  Venezuela is the accurate template. Authoritarian collectivism will follow the course it has always followed and it will be a nightmare.

Less Than Two Weeks

“Undecided”...When freedom is in the balance

I’m shocked when some friends and acquaintances waver on who they will vote for, as if this is just a typical election with a choice of personalities and policy.  A common copout is to vote for some third party candidate that just swings their vote to either Trump or Biden in the end anyway.

On a few recent occasions I’ve been told directly or indirectly that a friend or relative has voted for Joe Biden (Kamela Harris) already. Unlike a typical leftist, I don’t argue with these people or accuse them of outright stupidity (I do think they underestimate the seriousness of their choice). 

If you consider voting for Trump, you may feel that you are voting for someone who is coarse, an egotist, a braggart, and someone who is confrontational when he’s attacked — and you may be right.

On the flip side, you can vote for Biden and be concerned about his age, numerous gaffs, and his willingness to follow the dictates of the new far left wing of his party — and your concern may be justified.

All of these typical quirks that one occasionally finds in a candidate are irrelevant in this election. The issues that will affect your life negatively have no relation to the personal traits and behaviors of these candidates.

Ask anyone among the Trump-deranged how the Trump presidency has negatively impacted their life and you will never get a conclusive answer beyond vague assumptions regarding what Trump might do at some point in the future or his role in “ending the world” because he didn’t sign an international bureau-agreement on “climate change” (wealth distribution). A sober appraisal of the facts will find that Trump has done nothing to negatively impact the lives of American citizens beyond the power centers of establishment politics.

A common line spewed from the left is some variation on ...”Trump’s authoritarian tendencies...” and “threats to the constitution.” While he clearly likes striking a tough-guy pose and prides himself on being a fighter, there is nothing he has done or threatened to do that is remotely authoritarian.  In numerous examples he has had to work within the natural political order, compromising with the likes of Nancy Pelosi and distant court jurisdictions seeking to thwart his agenda. His executive actions have been no different than Obama’s “phone and a pen” in directing executive offices.   If he was so “authoritarian” the riotous behavior of Portland communists would have been shut down long ago, as would the perpetual onslaught of dishonest media partisans.  Authoritarians don’t DEregulate and oppose those who wish to stifle free speech.  

Meanwhile, those casting the “authoritarian” accusation think nothing of attacking the constitution and the elements of free society in their quest to make the state omnipotent.  A major “Alinsky rule,” accuse your opponent of what you yourself are actually doing.

A vote for Trump is against the elitist cocktail set of New York, Washington, and Los Angeles who fancy themselves the rightful rulers of society.  

The government wants its country back. A vote for Biden (Harris) will insure that, and insure that common citizens are never again able to take the reins of their own life in the quest for success and happiness.  Political life will take on some semblance of a dystopian novel where something or someone akin to “Big Brother” will determine everyone’s life.  Want a mere hint of the agenda?  “Wear a mask!”...and, “keep your kids at home!”  “Report your neighbors for any disobedient behavior, and buy all means, shut up and don’t disagree!”

The left has been on a century-long project to literally take over the United States and usurp full authority over its people.   Philosopher kings on a mission to establish themselves on the throne of self-righteous supremacy.  They were just on the edge of sealing the deal when the odd flamboyant billionaire came on the scene.  There is something almost profound about Trump’s arrival in our current circumstance.  Like him or hate him, he has been the biggest obstacle to a complete establishment takeover of the republic. If you support the government intelligence apparatus, the entrenched bureaucracy, and the left’s mission to muzzle, coerce, punish, and control the disobedient, you have every reason to hate Trump.  If you cherish America’s founding principles, a prosperous and free society, and a stable and secure ability to pursue happiness, then Trump is your only option. People can whine all they want about tweets or being “orange.” In the end, our entire time of upheaval is about individual freedom vs. submission to a clique of powerful control freaks.

Many people forget that this juncture will not only decide the fate of America but humanity itself. In times past, everyone, no matter how persecuted or under threat of subjugation, knew that America would eventually bend the dial of fate to safety and freedom. It was seen as the tacky and flawed comic book character that would at least leave freedom, optimism, and fun times in its wake. If America were to become just another bureau-dictatorship under one-party leftist control, there would be literally “no place to hide” — a world with villains on the ascendant and no superheroes to repel the decay of civilization.

An insightful person can clearly see that international institutions, mass-migrations, and fanatical ideologies will soon render European civilization irrelevant to the healthy maintenance of....European civilization. America need not follow this trend. It must not.

[Z]erohedge.com is one of those sites that the establishment media likes to label “FAR” or “EXTREME” right wing.  Like many popular conservative/libertarian venues, it’s just conservative — period. We don’t hear “mainstream” sources referring to CNN or Yahoo News as “FAR left wing.”  Zerohedge is not “racist,” “imperialist,” or “fascist.”  It’s essays are typically very informative and written in an intelligent style that favors American government as it was established by its founders — a republic with a high degree of self government.

The above linked essay is particularly informative and provides a unique take on what the establishment really is and why Donald Trump has been such a thorn in its side.  As with so many things, it’s about the money. The treasonous swamp minions have been selling out their country and fellow citizens to ideologies and foreign interests for something far simpler than elaborate ideological visions.  They’ve done so for the most cliche' and obvious of sins, the striving for money and power, and doing so through the most dishonest and morally corrupt of strategies.

The Donald Trump so hated by America’s power-brokers is despised for no more complex reason than that he stands in their way.  He has become the ultimate redistributor of wealth, redistribution from an elite ruling class to common citizens across America. 

There are certainly other blocks of people who oppose and despise Trump but they’re the mere followers, taken in by media hacks and pseudo-intellectuals in academia and entertainment. 

We’re getting close to one of the most dramatic periods of American history. The Democrats DO seek to upend the election through any means necessary. They do so with the goal of returning the republic to the course established long ago and thoroughly entrenched by his highness, sir Barack Obama and his compatriots. 

If the Democrats win, America will become a one-party state where the Democrats will not be a mere political party but a governing institution with the complete power of the state to coerce, punish, and literally enslave.  Not hyperbole.

Vote...in person.  Report any dubious schemes with ballots or voting procedures.

This election is not about free college and health care. It’s about a most rare and precious human circumstance, the dignity of individual human freedom.

It’s become a comical caricature; if one listens to the vein-bulging hysterics of the Trump deranged, there’s one theme that continually emerges. “Trump is Hitler”...just like John McCain, George Bush, Mitt Romney, and the local guy at the hardware store with a trump 2020 sticker on his car.

If you were to press these leftist clowns as to why Trump is such a threat to the continuance of life on Earth you’d no doubt hear plenty of bizarre proclamations that we’ve become used to, “he’s a racist, he’s a misogynist, he’s homophobic, he’s a war-monger...” etc.  none of these stupid comments bares the slightest relationship to reality. They’re all groundless. 

Ask these fools what exactly Trump has done that has negatively impacted their lives and all you’ll ever get is a variation on “orange man bad.” You may occasionally hear some vague allusion to “destroying the planet” because he refused to sign on to the worthless Paris Climate scheme (America has actually reduced it’s CO2 emissions more than the countries that signed on to the bogus wealth distribution scheme). 

So, why all the fuss?   If there is little to nothing that Trump has done that has had a negative impact on the pampered lives of the Jacobin rabble, what are they so angry about? It turns out that Trump has done many things that deviate from the way leftists want other people to live, which gets to the main issue with leftism in general — the need to control others’ lives.

Trump is a control-freak’s worst nightmare. When you’re trying to impose utopia and the president is deregulating, taking less of your money, and returning the constitution to its rightful authority as the standard of limited / self-government, he’s going to get you riled up.

Favoring a stable and prosperous society may not be Hitler but, to some, it’s a sure sign of being orange...and bad.

It’s become a fairly consistent strategy for Democrats to respond to loses like a child. A temper-tantrum followed by a demand that a game be repeated until they come out the winner.

By Now it Should be Beyond Obvious who the Real “Authoritarians,” and “Extremists” are.

In spite of all their, now typical, acts of psychological projection, the Democrats and left in general simply refuses to abide by the time-tested and reasonable functions of government.

The president nominates a person to fill vacancies on the Supreme Court....that’s it. It’s that simple. Like so many processes in government today, that procedure is not invalid because one political party doesn’t like the idea of a Supreme Court justice that upholds first and foremost,..the constitution!

Already, more threats of “burning it all down.” Just another turn of phrase to express everything the left represents, “We want our socialist ‘revolution’ (coup de’ ètat) and we want it now!”  The temper-tantrums of a child over every issue.

One of Trump’s possible choices, and one that would steal a lot of the Democomms identity politics thunder, is a highly qualified woman. Granted, she’s not a Puerto Rican black trans woman but, hey, it’s a start.

If the woman noted is nominated, It’s not likely that the Democrats will be able to pull off another one of their concocted sexual harassment strategies from an unknown time and unknown place. The big issue this time is completely irrelevant to the nominees qualifications — she’s Catholic.  Of course the implication is that, due to her religious beliefs, she may act against the left’s sacred cow of abortion up through the time of birth.  We never hear questions of nominees to determine if they are atheists or have little religious belief and therefore be more likely to support abortion. No, these things are only allowed to work in favor of Democrats’ desire to impose leftist beliefs on the nation.

Lower taxes, a wall to enforce border protection, deregulation, and now, the mundane duty of a president to nominate a person to the Supreme court. All cause to “burn it all down.”

The decisions of fellow citizens in elections no longer count. The processes outlines in our constitution no longer have any value in Democrat eyes. The desire to live in a prosperous free country where violent criminals are punished and standards of success and decency maintained are now all off limits because a clique of rabid control freaks want their “socialist revolution and want it now!” 

...And, of course, if the citizens of America don’t give them what they want, they’re “gonna burn it all down.”

Pro-Trump / Anti-establishment

Contrary to many of the accusations regularly directed at those who support the current president, I’m not “crusading” for the guy. I don’t “worship” him, as some suggest when denigrating those who support his policies. My stance is more defensive. The vitriol from the left toward Trump and his followers becomes more absurd with each passing day. When I hear the level of disrespect constantly uttered by the White House Press Corps along with the kid glove treatment of his opponent, it just further entrenches my support for Trump and his policies.  

After the last election, people like me were finally given the chance to see the government’s overbearing authority reined in somewhat. A punitive authority that had accrued over the last century in the guise of “progressive” ideology.  

Warts and all, Trump is sincerely taking on the unbridled power of a centralized government that has spun out of control.  Regardless of how noble one’s motivations may be for supporting such a beast, a powerful state is a danger to all, and there is plenty of history to back that claim. The “deep state” government bureaucracy, education, establishment journalism, entertainment, social media, and tech industry are all basically “on the same page.” Their method is to squelch free speech and free thought and impose restrictive authority on a society that was once relatively free — “for their own good,” of course.  

You can often judge someone by their friends...or by those who hate them. A lot of people hate Donald Trump.  A lot of people like him as well. It’s probably accurate to say that the number of people who actually despise him vs. those who are enamoued with him are about the same — about 30-40% of the voting public, which leaves another 30% or so who are indifferent or undecided. Amazingly, this is a pretty standard Democrat/Republican divide. To see it in context, in spite of all the hyperbole and passion, Donald Trump‘s approval among the population is about the same as Obama’s was, albeit from a different support base.

It’s incredibly rare to hear anyone from the Trump-deranged camp actually list specific reasons why they oppose Trump’s policies or how he has negatively impacted their life.  It’s always the kind of things one hears in grade school. “He’s stupid,” “he’s mean,”...adding nonsense like, he’s a “Nazi,” he’s a “fascist.” And of course....”racist!”  One should remember that Reagan, Bush, and candidates McCain and Romney were also supposedly “racist nazis” — the go-to talking point of the Democrat party (which seldom has real legitimate points to make).  Add to these monikers placed on Trump,  a host of baseless urban legends repeated by media partisans, and one could be convinced that he truly is the Antichrist. 

By all means, list why you think taxes shouldn’t be reduced for anybody, why you think power should be focused further in a centralized authority in Washington, why there should be more controls, regulations, and punishments for citizens trying to pursue liberty and happiness. Why farmers should be fined out of business because a government agency had been given authority over people’s private property. Tell us why you side with establishment power centers in media, academia, journalism, and the state’s intelligence institutions (the CIA, and FBI, etc). Tell us why Trump’s action regarding prison reform and funding of black colleges is “stupid” and the wrong policies to persue. Tell is why Americans’ should let anyone come into the country and be funded by taxpayers for their education, healthcare, and livelihood.   

Tell us why it’s good for a republic to allow powerful tech monopolies to censor free expression.  Why police should be eliminated and public property destroyed. Why mobs should dictate quality of life and communists and anarchists should be defended over common law-abiding citizens.

Most of all, tell us why you think that decades of Democrat rule of major cites and decades of encroaching state power over people’s personal lives is preferable to the reforms and economic prosperity unleashed the last few years (excepting, of course, the Corona interlude). 

For a lot of people, Trump’s bombastic personality is an issue. In simpler times, when there was little difference between candidates and parties, such appraisals were enough to sway a voter to one side or the other.   “_____ said ____”    “One time (he or she) did _____.”  ...Partisans can do this with anyone running for office.  For me the bottom line is, what kind of government do we wish to maintain...or morph into?  America’s constitution is an incredibly rare document and it’s even more rare that, for the most part, society has adhered to its standards — until recently.  The events and personalities that established American political life only converged once. It’s not likely that the world will again assemble the brilliance of 18th century enlightenment thought in such a way as to establish such a high degree of mass-prosperity and human advancement.  

I have intelligent friends who really think this election is just another “pendulum swing,” where one party temporarily steers policy in one direction to be later tempered by an opposing view. I beg to differ.

All the issues of the day ultimately boil down to some very basic concepts; collectivism vs. Individualism, centralization vs. dispersed and contending authority, controlled, censored, and punished expression vs. free open expression and creative dynamism. 

The Right, for at least several decades, was primarily the voice of traditionalism (some would say excessively so) monied interests, and exclusiveness. They were probably always a bit more patriotic and attentive to practical considerations. The left in America was “liberal,” believing in expanded social programs and a largely libertarian cultural stance - a belief in free expression. Ideological positions sometimes muddled practical considerations but, in the end, both parties ultimately espoused their positions on “bread and butter” issues.

This is no longer the case. Aside from an overly religious niche, most conservatives are basically libertarian in their world view. They are the remnants of 19th century classical liberalism. On the other side of the spectrum, a radical left (“progressives”) has come to dominate.They are now control freaks who demand obedience to what is essentially a statist philosophy that seeks to eliminate free and open society for the values of a commune with compulsory membership.  

Trump has been under unrelenting assault from these progressive forces in collusion with media and the entrenched power players of Washington. From a Trump supporter’s view, the media’s daily lies about him are grotesque exercises in unfairness. My favorite example of this blatant dishonesty is when several establishment outlets reported that he called “immigrants” “animals” when he in fact responded to a woman’s comments about the gang, MS-13 (who butchered her child) — MS-13 ARE animals. Recently, Trump’s off-the-cuff question to doctors present about the feasibility of using some type of disinfecting agent internally was stated by Brian Williams as “suggesting people should ingest cleaning agents.” Later, several partisan “journalists” and other entertainers worded it as, “telling people to drink bleach.” Many in the media now think nothing about reporting blatant fabrications when referring to the president’s comments or actions (there is a long list of these distortions and fabrications). 

                               Returning to the “norm”

There are many people who are looking forward to the end of the Trump administration. Of course the dignified way of doing that would be to vote in the next election and hope that a lackluster statist and his token “person of color” leftist sidekick pull off effective acts of voter fraud.

When business “as usual” returns, we can have a Hillary or Jeb Bush style establishment drone return authority to the state and global institutions. At that point many may begin to look back on the good old days of limited government and more importantly, self government  with a more critical eye regarding what serves America’s interest best.

One thing is absolutely certain, when Trump is gone, the state and it’s boot-licking allies will seize power back and this time they will not let it slip from their hands again. There will be no effective opposition to the government’s party. Won’t that be nice.

Conservatives need to stop suggesting that Democrats will possibly introduce socialism or simply “ban guns” etc.  The ultimate risk of letting these rabid ideologues get their social jack boots in the door, is dictatorship.  There is virtually nothing in their goals, stated or otherwise, that supports the continuation of free constitutional self-government.  They have become indistinguishable from communists.  The society they produce will not be Sweden, it will be Cuba.

Coming soon at an America near you;  an open border, cities flooded with non-assimilating aliens, overstretched social resources, a violent communist insurgency in the streets of major cities,  and the world preeminence of the Communist Party dictatorship in China.

Everyone should form their own well-considered conclusions, vote, accept the outcome, and insist that the outcome is an honest one. Beyond that, cross your fingers, pray, or find a good place to hide.

The “Race” Where No One Wins

I really think my position on race is like most people’s. I don’t wish ill-will on people who pose no threat to me. I certainly don’t have negative feelings toward others for irrelevant traits like “race.” Like most, I’m aware that some groups have been dealt more historical injustice than others, and that such injustice continues to occur, though no longer codified by law. In fact, the law emphatically bans discrimination and hateful aggression based on race. Numerous businesses, organizations, schools, and universities obsessively impose diversity “training” and other boring rituals to political conformity and obedience.

I don’t think that one is automatically “privileged” if they’ve been spared a specific injustice. We can’t really say that all divorced, unemployed, paraplegic and homeless white males dying of cancer “have all the power.”

In individual cases of genuine police brutality (out of literally hundreds of thousands of police encounters annually) we typically don’t know what the officer’s motive was in harming someone. Along with “racism,” possibilities also include instances such as, “he/she was reaching for a weapon,” “he/she was resisting arrest,” or he/she was running away and no one knew if the the person was armed. These aren’t “excuses.” They’re valid considerations in legal proceedings.

The idea that every case of genuine criminal behavior should be given a pass if the perpetrator belongs to a group from a noble victim class is ridiculous. Giving the benefit of a doubt to someone who appears to have a weapon is not an option.

“Racism” is now the grossly overused euphemism of our time. Truth be told, I’m sick of hearing about it. Most people don’t care — there, I said it. Absolutely true. They don’t want injustices to occur. They support the right of those opposed to injustice to tackle it in any peaceful and persuasive way they can. But...they’re sick of hearing whining pampered journalists, Democrat party operatives, and entertainers who see “racism” in every mundane interaction in life. Especially in one of the most diverse countries in the world. A country where minorities are leading voices in sports, entertainment, business, media, and wealth. Try that in most of the counties of the world.

Because they (academia specifically) couldn’t find enough examples of genuine aggression against minorities, they had to invent a new category of complaint; “micro-aggressions”...you can’t see them but, they’re there. Only leftists have the skill to see the unseen. Because there aren’t enough genuine “hate crimes,” the gripe-industrial-complex has to concoct hate crime hoaxes that outnumber actual cases.

No one really likes hearing the perpetual whiner who continually exaggerates and drones on about how horribly they’ve been mistreated. Especially, when their victimization never even occurred (ala Jussie Smollett and a host of other bogus “hate crimes”). Only in this bizarre post-modern mind-game can one be told that you owe your money or home even though you didn’t do something to someone that didn’t have anything done to them.

Some people’s passion is finding a cure for cancer. Some people’s mission is to end sex trafficking, birth defects, diabetes, or AIDS. Some people’s quest is to help abandoned and injured animals. All nobel goals, and there are literally hundreds of other goals equally deserving of sympathy and attention. Racial injustice is among them. It’s a favored project to some but far less than CNN, feminist literature professors, and the Democrats would have us believe.

Race conflict is a subject deserving of attention. Individuals and the legal system can no doubt do more to rectify injustice. But, screaming at people to “Say her [or his] name!” or burning cities down and threatening bystanders for not joining the latest “revolution” is just pathetic.

I’m reminded of Oscar Schindler of “Schindler’s List” fame. Schindler’s actions saved lives from the horrible injustice of a real fascist dictatorship (Nazi Germany). Schindler was not a crusader, finding anti-semitism everywhere and demanding you get excited about every incident of racial intolerance. Schindler was a member of the Nazi party (!) Those who are genuinely opposed to racism are opposed for purely undramatic and practical reasons. It’s wrong to harm or mistreat others for any reason not least of which is immutable characteristics like “race.” Oscar Schindler saw something morally wrong occurring, he was in a position to do something about it, and he did so.

The control-freak idiots today screaming, looting, destroying, and now, even murdering in overly exaggerated acts of virtue-signaling are no Oscar Schindler. The idea of honestly appraising a circumstance and conscientiously acting when a clear wrong has taken place is beyond the current self-described “anti-fascist” who simply jumps on any bandwagon that allows them to play the role of rebel.

The current conflict in America has little to do with “race.” Race conflict is just another convenient spark for the usual Jacobin rabble to establish their dystopia for everyone — regardless of race.

A race to the bottom will serve no one. Race will be irrelevant if a state is erected with the power to destroy everyone’s life and spiral humanity into socialist hell. If that happens, an individual police officer’s actions — right or wrong — won’t seem so important.

The American National Paradox

Among the beliefs of many American conservatives is the somewhat vague notion of “American exceptionalism.” This concept can be many things to different people. Those who are offended by the idea of Americans calling their country “exceptional” merely see the statement as one of arrogance and of nationalistic excess, but this is not the case at all. American exceptionalism is the acknowledged attribute of a unique style of government and society that minimizes the role of the state and imposed collective values. American exceptionalism is limited constitutional government in context to the unique history of the United States. This is an objective appraisal that the former president, Obama, was unable to make when he said he believed in American exceptionalism the same way that Brits believe in British exceptionalism or Greeks believe in Greek exceptionalism — meaning that he didn’t see the country he was president of as particularly exceptional at all. Like all leftists, he had a disdain for America and its history. To the authoritarian bureau-class, American history is no more than slavery, oppression, and injustice, meaning their understanding of history in general is remarkably limited.

American exceptionalism can been seen as a paradox. The opposite of America’s constitutional system are the varieties of collectivism that span the political spectrum. Values born of race affiliation, obedience to a party or individual autocrat, or other self-effacing belief systems that seek to mold citizens into one monolithic collective unit which necessitates the sacrifice of autonomy and freedom for the values and dictates of a group of some kind. For Nazi’s, it is the “race” that compels affiliation. For fascists, the “state” as an end in itself seeks to be the unifying principal that sways one away from self, family, or any of the other organizing social principals that a free person can choose alignment with. For communists, an ideology regrading economic “evolution” and class draws from the premises of the dead white male economics “philosopher,” Karl Marx (though his observations had been made by others to some degree). To establish any of these systems requires an allegiance to collectivist principals of some kind, to forfeit one’s sense of self-directed destiny to the dictates (literally) of some organizing principal that seeks to eradicate any idea or person lacking alignment with the collectivist vision.

The paradox of American exceptionalism lies in its expectation that one feels aligned to American ideals of government and social living that include the freedom to not participate.

One can be a proud believer in American exceptionalism — and thus “patriotic” to some degree — by a belief in opting out of any collectivist siren call - a paradox. One can hold a fervent belief in the American idea while choosing to not participate and not demanding the participation of others. A consistent belief in freedom requires that one never compels others to a particular cause. It’s certainly reasonable to expect fellow citizens to not destroy property or actively seek to eliminate free society.

There are of course nationalistic types who seek to compel others to patriotic obedience but these are ultimately collectivist in nature. A person can be a caricature of conservatism and yet be a collectivist and possess collectivism’s characteristic adulation of group affiliation.

The paradox of the America circumstance is that one can love the constitutional system and the culture born up around it but, if one truly appreciates it, they realize that there is no demand from them or fellow citizens to live within forced affiliation. It is affiliation by choice and is far removed from the dogmatic systems of history that have demanded conformity and communal sympathy.

When rich celebrities kneel at the sound of the national anthem or chant insults at the country’s founders, they are free to do so, and wiser and less-hypocritical souls are free to mock them and sneer at their pathetic arrogance. Colin Kaepernick is free to be an asshole but if he chooses to use his public forum to do so he is worthy of scorn by those who see through his nonsense.

What I love most about my country is that I don’t have to love it or any other ideas others would wish to be imposed upon me. Realistically, one can hold this stance (a support for the American ideal) yet resent the pampered whining of those who’s ultimate hatred of America rests upon a desire to force fellow citizens into a collective bondage of some type.

Unfortunately, being a leftist control freak is not exceptional.
